Your retina (located in the back of your eye) is the only place in the body where blood vessels can be seen directly. This means that in addition to eye conditions, signs of other diseases (for example, stroke, heart disease, hypertension, and diabetes) can also be seen in the retina. Early signs of these conditions can show on your retina long before you notice any changes to your vision or feel pain. While eye exams generally include a look at the front of the eye to evaluate health and prescription changes, a thorough screening of the retina is critical to verify that your eye is healthy.
Getting an optomap image is fast, painless, and comfortable. Nothing touches your eye at any time. It is suitable for the whole family. To have the exam, you simply look into the device one eye at a time (like looking through a keyhole) and you will see a flash of light to let you know the image of your retina has been taken.

With a single touch, the Maestro2 automatically performs alignment, focus, optimizing and capturing. After capturing, the report can be immediately displayed by clicking on the icon. In addition to automated capture, the Maestro2 offers manual/semi-manual options for difficult-to-image patients.

Additionally, us- er-defined templates help generate fast and repro- ducible results when defining standard isopters and mapping the blind spot, as well as for ptosis, driving and disability examinations.

ForeseeHome® AMD Monitoring Program
The ForeseeHome® AMD Monitoring Program is an early warning system for your eyes to help detect wet AMD as early as possible. It includes an FDA- cleared device that offers an easy at-home daily test to check for tiny changes in your central vision, which you may not see or notice on your own. The Notal Vision Diagnostic Clinic, provider of ForeseeHome, will alert us of any significant changes in your test scores so we can schedule an eye exam and decide on the best course of action. ForeseeHome is covered by Medicare and most private insurance.
